Since 1997, Paul Altobelli has leveraged his considerable expertise in a wide variety of engagements with deep focus on search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), web site design and development, and myriad areas of Internet and web business.
A veteran Internet, marketing and technology professional, he has also been sought by clients for his experience with local search, web site implementation and project management. He has a demonstrated capacity for investigating new technologies and platforms and developing business strategies for clients to utilize them for marketing and sales, including recent developments such as Twitter and Facebook.
Recently, Altobelli has been the Director of Internet Advertising at global giant Yell Adworks, Inc. (previously known as Pindar Set), operating out of their King of Prussia, PA offices. In the United States, Yell Adworks is best known for their pre-press production of Yellowbook directory ads as well as internet-based products published on Yellowbook.com. Altobelli worked closely with teams in the U.S., India and the Philippines on projects supporting those projects. Since November 2007, Altobelli established Yell Adworks’ first New Media Development team, dedicated to creating a process, templates and teams to build internet products for Yellow Book.
He also led efforts to establish a process for producing online video, created new sales opportunities by establishing new products for the company such as Conversion Pages (aka Landing Pages) and PhotoMotion (on-line 30-second video ads). In addition, Altobellicreated the first Adworks Blog, iTechConnect, in order to communicate internally and with Yell Adworks’ technology development within Application Architecture, Project Delivery and New Media Development. He also branded and developed User Interface / User Experience for Adworks customized video building application, FotoFusion. During the course of his tenure, Altobelli implemented significant new SEO and SEM projects that have led to increased client work for his division from throughout the company.
Altobelli earlier served as the Search Engine Marketing Manager at Harte-Hanks, Inc., a worldwide direct and targeted marketing company that provides direct marketing services and shopper advertising opportunities to local, regional, national, and international consumer and business-to-business marketers. During his tenure at Harte-Hanks, Altobelli directed SEM and traffic/site analysis for Fortune 500 clients including Black and Decker, Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey, Merck, and Teva Neuroscience. He also led and developed all the company’s Internet marketing activities including relationships with Google Adwords and Yahoo! Search.
Altobelli had previously been the Director of Operations for The Marketing Card, a start-up, innovative small business search engine marketing company based in Fort Washington, PA. In that role, Altobelli generated new business opportunities and partnerships for the company, and managed a team of Internet, marketing and tech professionals on three continents. The Marketing Card’s mission was to bring online sales, marketing and lead generation opportunities to small businesses everywhere, regardless of technical or marketing skill.
For several years, Altobelli was the Vice President and Director of Internet Marketing at Masterson Development (Fort Washington, PA), a diversified management firm active in commercial and residential real estate, as well as select, early-stage private equity investments. Altobelli oversaw online advertising, e-mail marketing and web site architecture, design, programming and content for the company and its subsidiaries, which included Groupe Avantage and Costa Rica Lifestyle Development.
Altobelli’s background also includes freelance website architecture, design, and programming. His clients included InTandem, Claritee Group, Pathfinder Solutions, and Action Freight Services. Previously, Altobelli was the Executive Producer and co-creator of The Voice, the internet-only radio station of The Village Voice (New York, NY). He was responsible for all programming and scheduling of the audio content, and produced specialty shows, commercials and other content for the site.
Altobelli’s work experience also includes his role Sales Communication Manager and Data Analyst for Omnient Corporation (Blue Bell, PA); Director of Marketing Communications forGiving Capital, Inc. (Philadelphia, PA); and Information Systems/Data Analyst for US Interactive, Inc. (King of Prussia, PA). Additionally, Altobelli has the Music Director and Assistant Program Director for WCXR-FM and WCPT-AM in Alexandria, VA and Assistant Music Director for WMMR-FM in Philadelphia, PA.
Altobelli received his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Rutgers University. He is married and resides with his children in Cherry Hill, NJ.
